That ';bruise'; is probably dried blood. You may've slammed your finger in a door of something by accident and that blood will clot on the surface underneath the nail. It's nothing to worry about, once the new skin grows back underneath the blood, the dried blood will work it's way out.I have a Bruise under my finger nail how long will it go away?

Are you sure it is a bruise? If you are African American, this is a common place to get something called Acral Lentiginous Melanoma, a type of skin cancer. Not trying to scare you. If you smashed your nail, its probably a bruise.
